LETBE Flygon 220cc – Adventure motorcycle for weekend tours in Serbia

There are motorcycles that come with specifications. And there are motorcycles that come with a promise. LETBE Flygon 220cc falls into the second category. The promise is concrete – every weekend in Serbia can look different, provided you have the right motorcycle under you. With 220cc, 230 millimeters of ground clearance, and a tank designed for long distances, the Flygon 220cc is the motorcycle that actually delivers on that promise.

Why 220cc, and not 125cc?

Many riders considering a Flygon start with this question, especially if they're new to enduro. The answer lies in the type of use.

The 125cc variant with 7.3 kW and 9.4 Nm is ideal for beginners and for lighter terrain. But as soon as the riding evolves into more serious trips – uphill climbs, mixed terrain at full weight with the rider and gear, long journeys with occasional gravel sections – the 125cc engine begins to show the limitations inherent to its displacement.

The 220cc variant delivers 12.8 kW and 17 Nm of torque – an increase that isn't an abstract specification on the trail. It's a tangible difference in how easily the Flygon 220cc climbs a steep incline on a full tank, how securely it navigates a longer gravel section at higher speeds, and how much room it has when passing on the short paved sections between the gravel stretches.

The axle spacing and overall geometry are identical in both variants – only the engine is different. This means that all of the Flygon's off-road character remains, and its power is increased.

What's waiting for you on weekend tours of Serbia?

Serbia offers a diversity of terrain that is exceptional by European standards, covering an area of just over 77,000 square kilometers.

In the north, Fruška Gora and the Vršačke Mountains offer a combination of terrain – paved roads through vineyards that quickly transition into gravel forest tracks. In the west, Tara and Zlatibor are classic destinations with beautiful landscapes, but also with trails that are out of reach by car. In the south and east, Stara Planina, Vlasina, and the canyons of the Nishava and Timok rivers offer the most challenging terrain in the country – rocky terrain, river crossings, and roads that are on the maps but not always clear on the ground.

The Flygon 220cc is a motorcycle that can pack all this into a single weekend – and still make it back home under its own power with fuel in the tank.

Specifications that understand a weekend tour

A ground clearance of 230 millimeters is a value that, in practice, means freedom. Crossing dry riverbeds, rocky terrain, and gravel holes without stopping or having to detour—this is the difference between a motorcycle that rides and one that struggles through. Flyon's ground clearance is in the upper echelon of the enduro category for this displacement.

The 130/80-18 front tire is an unusual choice – wider than a standard enduro front tire – which gives an advantage on mixed terrain that includes paved sections. Narrower enduro tires are superior in deep mud, but on the dry mixed terrain that dominates in Serbia, the wider front tire provides a better balance between off-road and on-road stability.

The rear tire, 180/80-14, is unusually wide for the enduro category. This directly contributes to stability at higher speeds on gravel—a quality that is appreciated on the long gravel straights found on every serious tour.

A 12-liter tank, with a fuel consumption of 1.8 L per 100 kilometers, means a range of 650 to 700 kilometers on a full tank. In practice, this means a full day of riding without refueling—which on off-road tours, where a gas station isn't always nearby, is not a luxury but a necessity.

A 150-kilogram weight is at the upper limit for enduro in this class, but it's proportional to the bike's off-road capabilities and the size of its tank. For serious enduro, this weight is acceptable, and a rider who has covered several hundred kilometers on the trail doesn't feel it as a burden.

Preparing for the first weekend tour on the Flygon 220cc

Preparation begins before you even get on the bike. Navigation is key – offline maps on a GPS device or a trusted app are a must. There is no cell service in all the terrain that Serbia has to offer, and relying on it can leave a rider disoriented in places where there is no one around.

Spare equipment – a spare inner tube or a set of tubeless tires, a wrench set, basic tool kits – is the minimum an experienced rider always carries. On the Flygon 220cc, storage space is limited, so you have to choose carefully what goes on the bike and what stays at home.

Weather is a factor that's all too easily ignored. Mud turns terrain that's easy in dry conditions into something that can bog down your engine for hours. Check the forecast and plan your rides with enough margin for unexpected changes.

Conclusion

LETBE Flygon 220cc It's not a motorcycle for everyone. It's a bike for the rider who wants their weekends in Serbia to look different—who wants to get to where the road ends and something worth remembering begins. The specifications are there to back that up: ground clearance, tires, a tank, and power that's more than enough for anything the Serbian terrain can offer.
